Field Service Technician

Job Summary:
Responsible for understanding, upholding and promoting CSG’s Critical Success Factors: 1) Safety First! 2) Financial Success (including operational excellence); 3) Employee Satisfaction (including development and training), and 4) Customer Satisfaction. Promote ISG PCM/OEG’s Core Values, safety culture and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). Primary duties include:

• Commissioning, warranty repairs, troubleshooting and support pertaining to Industrial Control Panels
• Accurately and independently perform repairs, panel modifications, commissioning, and other tasks at customer locations
• Programming and commissioning Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s)
• Short periods of travel for field service support
• Ability to manufacture electrical control panels start to finish
• Produce detailed service reports
• Red line / correct drawings in the field for changes
• Operate a company vehicle in a safe manner
• Support Control Panel Manufacturing and/or Quality Control dept when not in the field
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Working knowledge of UL 508 A code
• Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFD’s)
• High-level ability to test, troubleshoot, service and repair Industrial Control Panels
• Ability to adapt to dynamic work schedules
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and complete projects on schedule
• Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others
• Familiar with mobile devices and applications
• Strong communications skills to help build confident relationships with customers
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Minimum Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 years previous field service experience
• Minimum 2 years previous Control Panel Manufacturing
