Job Summary:
GENERAL SUMMARY / PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for understanding, upholding and promoting CSG’s Critical Success Factors, 1) Safety First!; 2) Financial Success (including operational excellence); 3) Employee Satisfaction (including development and training), and 4) Customer Satisfaction. Provide business and administrative support to facilitate the planning and coordinating of activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed timeframe and funding parameters.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Assist Project Manager in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, and arranging for assignment of project personnel.

2. Assist in the coordination of project personnel activities to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

3. May advise Project Manager of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties. Assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.

4. Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures as required.

5. Oversee and/or process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., expense reports, supply requisitions, personnel transaction forms, operating budgets, etc.) per supervisor’s authorization.

6. Prepare special reports, studies, and statistical analysis per supervisor’s request. Such items would usually require research, development and/or interpretation of data and be performed with little supervision or instruction.

7. This position is required to drive.

8. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of two years general business/administrative experience or equivalent combinations training and related experience or a two-year business, construction management or technical degree. Proficient communication interpersonal and organization skills necessary. Must have safe driving record and a valid driver’s license according to legal requirements.
Key Skills & Competencies
Understanding of corporate, industry and safety practices, processes, standards and how they affect project activities. Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills essential.

Position has continual contact with clients, management, and project staff. Must be courteous, professional, and diplomatic.
