Job Summary:
GENERAL SUMMARY/PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting CSG’s Critical Success Factors, 1) Safety First! 2) Financial Success (including operational excellence); 3) Employee Satisfaction (including development and training), and 4) Customer Satisfaction. Promote OEG’s Core Values, safety culture and Continuous Process Improvement (CPI). Primary duties include being a member of a construction team who is responsible for creating and modifying elements within a virtual environment using industry specific software applications. The primary software OEG uses to accomplish this task is Autodesk Revit.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Model electrical systems based on markup drawings and/or verbal direction provided by electrical detailers
• Setup of Revit views and sheets in preparation for shop drawings
• Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation
• Utilize Bluebeam Revu software to markup PDF drawings and communicate with team members
• Prepare copies and help make sets of documents for transmittal to other parties
• Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint, or project websites (FTP, BIM 360, etc.)
• Check own work for accuracy before passing on to others
• Perform additional duties as assigned

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• General working knowledge of common computer systems and software applications
• General working knowledge of the following construction software applications:
o Autodesk Revit
o Autodesk Navisworks
o Autodesk AutoCad
o Bluebeam Revu
o Trimble
• General working knowledge of the following Microsoft Office applications:
o Outlook
o Word
o Excel
• Ability to create Revit Worksets and understanding of Revit work sharing process
• Ability to take verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, working shop drawings
• Ability to manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters and similar Revit functions
• Fluency in the 2D and 3D space
• Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades
• Ability to receive and transmit documents on behalf of the design team
• Fluency with all plotters, printers and reproduction systems used in house or on the job site
• Fluency for importing documents, such as spread sheets, photos, images, and word processing files into Revit projects
• Fluency in reading 2D plans, electronically or hard copy
• Ability to type, proofread, spell check work without supervision
• Able to generate e-mail independently
• Skills above and beyond would be creating simple parametric families, utilizing shared parameters, creating schedules, and creating complex geometry
• Prepare copies and help make sets of documents for other parties
• Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint or project websites (FTP, etc.)
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
• Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
• Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
• Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Associate degree preferred in computer aided drafting
• 2 years’ experience in the electrical construction industry, with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience
