DREDGE SUPERINTENDENT

We are currently hiring for a Reed Dredge Superintendent in Salem, OR. Will coordinate and plan production/repair schedules of the Dredge, work daily with Crushing Superintendent.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Insure all operations are in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including air and water quality, permit conditions, dumpsite policies and MSHA, OSHA
- Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
- Work day-to-day with frontline and crew leaders providing overall guidance and direction while promoting the individual development of all team members
- Insure that quality of all materials exceeds customers expectations
- Keep downtime to a minimum
- Coordinate with internal customer and to determine production schedules
- Responsible for dredge, dewatering plant, pit lines and inventory
- Dredge currently operates 7 days and 7 nights per week with production expected to near/exceed one million tons/year
Minimum Qualifications:
- Safety first attitude required
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Requires high degree of skills in planning, organization, supervising, communication and observation
- A valid drivers license in good standing
- Ability to pass a criminal background and pre-employment drug screen
