General Labor Building Maintenance Warehouse

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for receiving, unpacking, checking and storing merchandise or materials to fill customer orders or plant transfers
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
2. Two to Four years of experience in a warehouse setting with similar job duties.
3. Must possess a valid state driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record.
4. Must be able to pass pre employment and random drug tests.

Preferred Requirements:
1. Construction Building Materials experience
Duties & Responsibilities
1. *Receives, unpacks, checks and stores merchandise or materials.
2. *Fills requisitions and orders for customers or plant transfers.
3. *Packs, crates and ships products and materials as needed.
4. *May operate fork lift or other lifting/moving devices in the warehouse/yard.
5. * Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowlege, Skills & Ablilities
1. Ability to read and comprehend information
2. Basic Math skills
3. Basic Computer skills
4. Ability to use proper lifting devices or tools to move large quantities or heavy pieces of inventory with assistance.
5. Ability to use in house receiving, shipping and inventory processes and/or computerized systems.
