Job Summary:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely and productively operates pump truck - monitoring controls, setting outriggers and using proper techniques.
• Performs pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment, noting all maintenance standards are met (i.e. air brakes, oil, water, tire inflation, proper lighting, safety kit, windows, and lights, mirrors and rear-view camera are clean).
• Ensure the assigned equipment is cleaned, serviced and stored at the end of each shift.
• Monitors and visually inspect mix for proper materials.
• Continuously monitors the equipment to ensure proper operation and minimal down time. Routinely connect multiple hoses & pipes using hand tools. Cleans hopper, hoses, pumping equipment, tracks or wheels on equipment.
• Position tubes and pipes so concrete is discharged in desired locations.
• Dispose of excess concrete in environmentally safe manner.
• Performs minor service on equipment.
• Completes Equipment Condition Report and reports any necessary repairs to supervisor and/or Maintenance Shop.
• Confirm pump ticket and communicate that with dispatch.
• Achieves maximum productivity, meeting and exceeding established standards.
• Responsible for operating Ready Mix and Aggregate trucks as needed.
• Adheres to all safety company standards and rules. Ensures all safety rules are adhered to by co-workers and customers and reports any safety violations to supervisor.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, co-workers and Supervisors.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

CDL Class B License required, CDL A preferred.
Must maintain medical card and acceptable driving record.
Two years truck driving experience required, Ready Mix experience preferred.

**With this position there is an option to work in the shop during the off season.
