Job Summary:
Responsible for understanding, upholding and promoting CSG’s Critical Success Factors, 1) Safety First!; 2) Financial Success (including operational excellence); 3) Employee Satisfaction (including development and training), and 4) Customer Satisfaction.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Place outgoing calls, answer incoming calls, forward calls to party, take messages when necessary, notify employees that visitors have arrived.

2. Pass messages on to the party called or their assistant. May take messages for absent employees.

3. May conduct orientation on telephone system usage for new employees.

4. Receive packages, letters, etc., as required. Sign for parcels when necessary.

5. Update and distribute telephone directory.

6. Type memos, letters, listings, etc., as backup to other departments and may organize/alphabetize filing for other work groups.

7. Process incoming mail daily, distribute to mail receptacles.

8. Copy, organize and distribute bid request as directed.

9. Maintain office machines, schedule service when needed.

10. Responsible for ordering & inventory of office supplies.

11. Issues purchase orders to field personnel as needed.

12. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Educational and experience requirements include: High school diploma. No experience required, however, basic typing and office organization skills are beneficial.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

General knowledge and skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Requires a positive attitude and the ability to orally communicate with internal and external customers. Good punctuation, spelling, and grammar skills.
