Job Summary:
GENERAL SUMMARY/PRIMARY FUNCTION

Promote ISG/PCM, OEG/MDU core values, safety culture and continuous process improvement (CPI). Operates computer aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment to develop drawings which may include Mechanical - Electrical Controls Engineering and manufacturing design detail, or both.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Estimating of Electrical Control Panels and associated equipment
2. Design of electrical control systems/panels in compliance with applicable codes and UL508 standards under direction of Project Managers and designers.
3. Interface and coordinate with designers and engineering from conception of design through submittal, product production and as-build documentation control.
4. CAD file and product documentation control.
5. Assist project managers with the production, coordination, review, and approval of project shop drawings and submittals in conjunction with project specifications and production requirements.
6. Provide direction to administrative staff, procurement, logistics department, and production department
7. Generally works under the direction of a Project Manager.
8. Maintain as-built documents.
9. Participate in the creation and response to RFIs.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Five to ten years’ experience in UL Control Panel Manufacturing industry
2. Operating computer aided design (CAD) system and peripheral equipment.
3. Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred and or applicable experience.
4. Experience working with MS Office.
5. Possess a background and experience with the design of industrial controls, and the electrical controls processes.
6. Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and work and adapt under pressure.
