EIT Systems Analyst I, II, Sr.

Job Summary:
Responsible for making our #1 critical success factor, safety first, a priority in all tasks and activities performed by self and all others involved. Under direction of the Director of Financial Software Systems, support high level design of complex software functionality to interface and supplement various applications across the company. Interface with users to meet the business operational needs through the use of technology. Study existing business functions and system applications in order to design, develop and implement the data structures, programs and documentation necessary to automate and enhance the companies’ business processes. Support the development of the essential core design of features meeting the needs across various applications throughout the organization.

1. Works with assistance from Director of Financial Software Systems, other team members, clients and consultants on traditional maintenance and enhancement tasks and/or as part of a team of developers on major projects.
2. Analyze, evaluate, and document requested modification to existing business processes and system applications.
3. Provides production support to address application errors encountered during processing. Such support may require on-call duties extending beyond normal business hours. On-call duties are shared with other team members on a rotating basis as determined by the manager.
4. Participates in software development; develops test plans, test data and documentation. Performs required testing to ensure the system functions in accordance with the business requirements established by the user.
5. Develop program specifications and performs tasks through all phases of the software development life cycle for a project team consisting of system analysts, users, and consultants.
6. Responsible for identification, development and maintenance of data security measures.
7. Keep abreast of emerging technologies related to assigned areas of responsibility and seek ways to improve application processing efficiencies.
8. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
System Analyst I
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field or equivalent experience. Two years of professional experience that includes relevant development tools and business analysis review in areas of system design and application development.

System Analyst II
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field or equivalent experience. Four years of Information Technology experience with proven record of increasing work responsibility, effective analysis and project management.

Sr. System Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field or equivalent experience. Six years of Information Technology experience with proven record of increasing work responsibility, effective analysis and project management.

Good written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with internal and external customers. Able to manage multiple priorities. Broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in one or more business applications. Experience in software design and development in a business environment. Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality of all company information.

Key Skills
• Experience with Microsoft SQL, PowerShell, Crystal Reporting, and Microsoft Azure platforms i.e. PowerApps, PowerBI, SharePoint. Working knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum and Sage 100 ERP Systems. Understanding of inner workings of Customer Information Systems.

ERP Key Skills
• Experience supporting and developing for an ERP system
o Preferred systems: Viewpoint Spectrum, SAGE 100
• Experience with Report writing applications (Crystal Reports, Spreadsheet Server)
• Knowledge working with DB2 database
• Knowledge in Microsoft SQL
• Knowledge in programming in the following languages: C++, PowerBuilder, XML, VB

WEB Key Skills
• Knowledge in Web Services, Java Script, Java, MVC, HTML, SQL, JSON

Data Warehouse Key Skills
• Experience at Architecting data warehouse solutions.
• Experience in Database Design, Data Modeling.
• Experience in Database Programming.
• Transforming business requirements into logical data model.
• Knowledge of ETL tools and designing ETL processes.
Required to maintain a valid driver’s license, and travel as needed. May be required to participate in an on-call rotation. If there is a need for unescorted access to security sensitive business locations and/or systems (i.e. Electric EMS system), must submit to periodic background checks.

Location is open to discussion, and will based out of a CSG Operating Company. Including Bismarck, ND; Dayton, OH; Las Vegas, NV; Kansas City, MO; St. Louis, MO; Portland, OR; or Denver, CO.
