Job Summary:
Performs any combination of the following: calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Over 6 months up to and including 1 year from post high school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment.
2. 1-2 years accounting experience.

Duties & Responsibilities
1. Accurately maintain customer and product data base in point of sale system.
2. Set up special pricing and projects as needed.
3. Process daily tickets and generate daily reports verifying all information.
4. Invoice customers daily and ensure that invoices and statements are mailed timely.
5. Verify and enter material bill of ladings.
6. Enter inventory usages daily.
7. Maintain a variety of inventory spreadsheets in excel.
8. Assist with month end inventory verification.
9. Answer incoming customer phone calls and resolve issues or forward to the appropriate individual.
10. Work closely with the aggregate/asphalt dispatch, plant supervisors, general managers, and the sales department to take care of all of the customer’s needs.
11. Assist with the credit and collections process.
12. Run pre-authorization on check and credit card payments and also close the transactions.
13. Generate required reports.
14. Assist other departments as needed.
15. Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
16. Ensure OSHA safety and environmental regulation compliance
17. Performs other duties as assigned.
