Job Summary:
GENERAL SUMMARY/PRIMARY FUNCTION
Responsible for making our #1 critical success factor, safety first, a priority in all tasks and activities performed by self and all others involved. Set up NO-Test Orders and Outage notifications utilizing Southern California Edison computer system. Coordinate with civil construction team and schedule qualified electrical workers accordingly. Support civil construction team with As-built drawing and clerical back office support.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Educational and experience requirements include: 3-5 years of experience submitting No Test Orders and Outage notifications utilizing Southern California Edison network system or equivalent combinations of training and related experience. Electrical working knowledge of general office/field procedures plus ability to organize and coordinate group work efforts required. Proficient research and communication skills are essential. Must have safe driving record and a valid driver’s license according to legal requirements.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Compose and submit all required paperwork for NO Test order to substations utilizing Southern California Edison computer and network system.
2. Coordinate with civil construction management and Schedule qualified electrical workers accordingly.
3. Process FIM maps and maintain NO Test order and Outage notification master worksheet and other electronic files for Southern California Edison Sourcing.
4. Support field supervisors and foreman with As-built drawings.
5. Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, procedures, etc., as required.
6. Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis, brochures, etc. per supervisor’s request. Such items would usually require research, development and/or interpretation of data and be performed with little supervision or instruction.
7. May interpret and administer a company policy, program or procedure requiring independent decision making.
8. Create new Excel worksheets and other documents as requested.
9. Gather and review all necessary back up documentation for completed projects.
10. This position is required to drive.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner. Knowledge and skills in the use of Southern California Edison computer network system and various Microsoft Office applications including Project, Word and Excel.
