Job Summary:
Responsible for assigning appropriate equipment and personnel to complete deliveries of various resources to construction projects throughout MN and ND. Administrative duties typically associated with a dispatch operation.

• Prioritize multiple tasks
• Direct activities of drivers
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems
• Operate dispatch software system
• Confer with Project Supervisors, Project Managers, Managers, and others as needed to verify orders and times of resources, explain process and required information.
• Read maps and follow directions
• Obtain oversize/overweight permits with a computer
• Follow government and industry regulations. (MnDOT, NDDOT, OSHA, FMSCA, etc.)
• Maintain confidentiality of information
• Maintain strong customer service
• Properly file the order and special instructions and give adequate notice to ensure proper materials are available.
• Monitor and discuss logistical issues and challenges with co-workers and managers/supervisors
• Perform a variety of computer related tasks with (Microsoft word, Excel, Zonar, HCSS, and others)
• Hold self and others accountable to the corporate safety policies at all times
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent
• Dispatch experience preferred
