Senior Ready Mix Sales Representative

Job Summary:
The Senior Sales Representative will be responsible for the generation of sales / revenue of Ready Mix Concrete for Knife River Corporation South in the Bryan / College Station Texas area. This position will serve residential, commercial, Industrial, and civil market segments. Collaborate with other members of the Sales team, Quality Control, and Central.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Make and track daily sales calls on new and current customers in the targeted market.
- Assist Material Sales Manager with forecasting and backlog updates.
- Foster effective and positive communication with operations and dispatch teams to meet customer needs.
- Become knowledgeable of Knife River’s product lines, capabilities, and company goals.
- Be a champion for our culture of safety.
Duties and/or Responsibilities:
- Works well with others in collaborative team environment.
- 3+ years of marketing and/or sales experience in ready mix concrete, aggregates or other related construction material fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deal with high pressure situations under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in the use of computer applications in Microsoft Office Suite and Command Alkon products.
- Professional, self-motivated, and organized.
- History of establishing goals, measuring and achieving results.
- Ability to negotiate and win trust easily.
- Bachelor Degree (business admin, Construction science, marketing, engineering) from accredited institution preferred.
