Knife River is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Portland, OR.

Project management responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing CPM schedules and monthly pay estimates.
- Tracking quantities, reporting progress, monitoring daily costs and pricing extra work.
- Preparing erosion control & traffic control plans
- Writing letters and resolving problems.
- On site project supervision.

About 25% of the successful candidate’s time will be spent preparing estimates and proposals. The rest of his or her time will be spent managing, scheduling, and coordinating projects under construction and providing field supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field of study or work experience that demonstrates the skills to required to perform the job.
- Experience in estimating and management of civil construction and paving projects.
- Requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of cost control systems and prior experience in the use of computerized estimating, quantity takeoff, and scheduling programs.
- Willing to work nights and weekends when needed and be committed to supporting the company’s safety program.
