Job Summary:
Responsible for making our #1 critical success factor, safety first, a priority in all tasks and activities performed by self and all others involved. Promote On Electric Group’s core values, safety culture and continuous process improvement (CPI). We strive to provide consistent, dependable accounting services to support our internal and external customers. Primary duties include: Provide support to the Accounting Department, contributing to its success in its role in support of the company’s construction projects, financial reporting responsibilities, and internal controls environment.

• Assist in preparation of internal financial statements, manage fixed assets
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• GL accounting experience required
• Balance sheet accounts reconciliations
• Construction industry experience is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout Company organization
• Maintains a high level of confidentiality
• Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing
• Problem solver who works well in ambiguous situations and formulates solutions independently
• Property, sales and use tax, escheatment reporting
• Research GAAP guidance as needed
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong Excel and database skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong technical accounting background
• Team player and have ability to work independently
• Variance analysis
• Working knowledge of full cycle accounting processes (A/P, A/R, Payroll)
Minimum Qualifications:
Educational and experience requirements include: Accounting degree or business degree with accounting experience; construction company experience preferred.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
Background check and drug screen required.
