We are currently looking for dedicated Transportation Coordinator to join our skilled team in Tangent or Portland, Oregon!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Involvement with Trucking Related Organizations on behalf of KRC.
- Help collect PUC miles on and off road.
- Manage county and state permits - Insure compliance.
- Help to coordinate low boys Bend, Metro, Mid-valley and Medford.
- Help coordinate routes and efficiency of oil bulkers.
- Help coordinate routes and efficiency of cement bulkers.
- Dispatch cement and oil needs across KRC.
- Ensure DOT compliance at KRC.
- Track and monitor Zonar for proper inspections.
- Implement electronic log books.
- Manage drivers committees and programs - Mentor Manager, Top Wheel, etc.
- Coordinate with SMA–GM’s for opportunities to increase margins on trucking.
- Track costs for hauling - Manage Fleetwatcher System.
- Negotiate hauling rates for KRO.
- Assist with 3rd party dump truck needs across SMA’s.
- Monitor overall hauling needs and help locate and coordinate trucking fleet to meet demand.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in a field related to construction/trucking or college degree.
- Knowledgeable in DOT Rules & FMCS Regulations.
- Computer skills are a must.
- Working knowledge of JDE, Zonar, Fleetwatcher, Command Batch, JWS or BI a benefit.
- Must be a good communicator with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam and drug screen.
