Knife River has an excellent opportunity for an Aggregate Sales Representative in Corvallis, OR.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Maintain regular contact with current and potential customers.
- Review plans and specifications prior to bidding, calculate and quote material prices to customers.
- Track and document market data relating to product and price.
- Perform on-going market analysis.
- Entertain customers, resolve customer complaints and questions, and assist in collections.
- Assist in production schedules by timely communication of customers' project schedules.
- Will require active involvement in trade and community associations.
- Back-up location dispatchers during peak times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sales experience and familiarity with construction industry or aggregate sales required. - Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- Must have the ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of personality types and accept rejection.
- Requires good math, verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a self starter and be able to organize and manage time effectively and handle difficult situations.
- A neat, professional appearance and a good driving record are required.
- Prefer someone with knowledge of local market area.
