Job Summary:
The coast operation seeks an experienced Mechanic to safely perform repair and maintenance on a fleet of heavy diesel and gasoline trucks and construction equipment. You will diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, brakes, electrical, transmissions and perform preventative maintenance to company and DOT standards.

The work will be performed primarily in the shop and may expand to repairs in the field. Swing shift hours are 3:00PM-11:30PM with some overtime and weekend work.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years heavy truck or equipment mechanic experience and Class A CDL with doubles, tanker & hazmat endorsements, good driving record and current medical card. Previous welding experience desired.

You provide your own tools but the company will replace your tools that are broken or damaged due to reasonable use while on the job.

This union position provides a good wage with daily overtime after 8 hours, (and all time Saturday, double time Sunday) and a generous benefit package with very low medical deductible plus dental, vision, life, disability, union pension and vacation savings plan.
