Sales Administrator

Job Summary:
The Sales Administrator must provide administrative support to the Sales and Dispatch departments through inputting and analyzing daily sales data and communicating with customers.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong organizational abilities
• Excellent mathematical, spelling, and grammar skills
• Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Detail oriented – able to handle and process multiple tasks at once, prioritizing as appropriate
• Microsoft Word, Excel, JDE experience a plus
• 1-2 years experience in a related sales or customer service support role, including accounting functions
• Must have proficient data entry skills, focusing on speed and accuracy
Essential Duties/Responsibilites
• Create quotes under direction of the Sales team and deliver to customers promptly
• Set up and maintain Sales orders in POS systems
• Ability to complete pricing for accurate invoicing of all building materials
• Set up and maintain all sales pricing manuals for the Sales team
• Update mass increases for pricing and freight into POS systems
• Communicate with customers, Quality Control, Dispatch and Sales Team
• Work closely with the Billing Department and Accounts Receivable
• Work closely with Quality Control manager to utilize proper mix designs and become support for the submittal process
• Set up and maintain all customer & project files, purchase orders, and other related sales documents
• Input daily sales and statistics into various systems and spreadsheets
• Must comply with company safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds
• Perform other duties as assigned
