Job Summary:
GENERAL SUMMARY/PRIMARY FUNCTION
Promote On Electric Group’s core values, safety culture and continuous process improvement (CPI). The project engineer’s primary function is to support each project with design tracking, job cost tracking, and coordination of all aspects of construction.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Tracking construction contract design changes and updates.
• Tracking of project construction progress in addition to tracking job costs.
• Coordinating design changes within construction team.
• Assist with preparation of change orders and maintenance of project change order log.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule.
• Assist with development and maintenance of submittals log and RFI logs.
• Ability to prepare project submittals and submit written RFIs to client.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.
Minimum Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• College degree or completion of Electrical Apprenticeship preferred; however, not required
• Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Extensive document controls experience
• Microsoft Office experience, including Excel, Word and Outlook
Key Skills & Competencies
KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Working knowledge of job cost tracking.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
