Petroleum Recovery Driver

Job Summary:
Responsible for efficient and safe operation of route truck to collect spent petroleum products as directed by orders and schedule. Additionally to provide customer service to promote satisfaction for the customer.

Duties:
1. Collect spent petroleum products with route trucks on scheduled route basis.

2. Generate customer leads through observation and cold calls to develop new customers to build route volume and division profitability working with the Petroleum Recovery Manager.

3. Build and maintain customer trust by keeping the customer satisfied with timely service and on-site cleanliness.

4. Test spent petroleum products by use of the field test methods to insure only on-specification product is recovered.

5. Maintain proper records; customer files, truck reports, tank readings, daily test log, bills of lading, driver logs and time sheets.

6. Perform necessary maintenance of company property to include truck equipment, storage tanks and pumps.

7. Comprehension and compliance with DOT and environmental regulations regarding transporting and handling of relevant materials.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Must have valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with tanker endorsement.
* Previous driving experience a plus.
* Must Pass Jebro / DOT MVR guidelines and applicable background check.
* Basic computer skills.
Additional Information
* Route experience a "plus".
* Overtime available, and required regularly.
* Able to work independently.
* Comfortable working in an outdoors environment for extended periods of time.
* Light mechanical skills preferred.
* This is a full time, year-round position. All equipment along with uniforms provided.
