Maintenance Clerk/Service Writer

Job Summary:
Schedule maintenance, process work orders and assist the Equipment Department.

• Schedule oil changes and update list
• Create and process work orders
• Fill out oil samples
• Time card data entry
• Schedule maintenance for light equipment and vehicles
• Assist in looking up parts
• Assist Service Department as needed
• Process defects from daily inspections
• Schedule the lube truck
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations & act courteous/respectful of others.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.)
• Ensure OSHA safety and environmental regulation compliance
• Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
• General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent
• Previous parts, equipment and mechanical experience
• Computer program experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Zonar and JDE preferred
• Provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record
