Job Summary:
Responsible for making our #1 critical success factor, safety first, a priority in all tasks and activities performed by self and all others involved. Business development, project management and design engineering, including negotiating, estimating, planning, scheduling, and cost engineering of commercial voice/data, fiber optic, audio/visual, security, card access and other low voltage technology projects. Plans, develops, organizes, and supervises the design and construction efforts for a total project. This will involve coordinating all design efforts as well as overall management of field construction activities.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projects.
2. Establish work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel. In conjunction with Architect/Engineer, insure all design activities are completed accurately and on time in accordance with master schedule.
3. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards for project. In conjunction with Project Manager and/or Superintendent monitor/control construction to insure project is designed and built on schedule and within budget.
4. Confer with project staff to outline work plan, assign duties, responsibilities, scope of authority, provide technical advice, and resolve problems.
5. May serve as the prime client contact coordinating the resolution of problems, reviewing progress, recommending alternatives and advising on project objectives as dictated by corporate management.
6. May direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to insure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.
7. May manage financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest, and maintain good relationship with Client.
8. Display the professional, technical and conceptual skills required of a successful Manager.
9. Ensure that all Bombard Electric projects and contractual commitments are met and performed professionally
10. Ensure that all Bombard Electric company processes and procedures are followed.
11. Ensure that all OSHA and other safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to during construction.
12. Ensure that Bombard Electric has a successful project and a satisfied customer by anticipating customer needs, exceeding customer expectations while maximizing profitability through effective project leadership
13. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Four year engineering degree or equivalent (i.e. BICSI RCDD certification accepted). Minimum fifteen (15) years progressive experience with business development, exhibiting strong customer relationship management skills with clients, VARs and vendors. Minimum five (5) years experience with BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification; and designing voice and data networks and developed proficiency with telecommunications terminology; and with OSHA 30 certification and developed familiarity with safety regulations. AccuBid software expertise (or similar estimating software); MS Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook) proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications
• Minimum fifteen (15) years progressive experience estimating and managing commercial voice/data, fiber optic, audio/visual, security, card access and other low voltage technology projects, experience within the Las Vegas and Nevada market preferred
• Preferred certifications include: AMP ND&I, Siemon Certified Designer, Commscope Infrastructure Academy courses for Systimax & Uniprise, Sumitomo ABF
