Job Summary:
This position will coordinate, administer and reconcile the payroll processes of the Company in accordance with Federal and State regulations and in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards. Compile and prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and periodic payroll reports and data requests for the Company and external entities under the direction of management.

Complete payroll processing for multiple locations requiring different deduction and tax treatment. Prepare all payroll tax related filings. Develop accrual procedures to ensure timely and accurate data is maintained. Assists in the maintenance and implementation of accounting/payroll software and databases. Completes maintenance of employee records and deductions. Responsible for submitting the monthly union reports in accordance with CBA and/or company policy. Reconciles and requests account payments to third parties. Acts as a liaison with internal and external contacts and vendors. Researches and resolves issues for employees.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Self- starter with the ability to perform with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented. Able to handle multiple priorities, adjust to changing priorities, and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a team environment. Some OT may be required. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in dealing with internal and external customers. A working knowledge of all federal and state regulations regarding payroll practices. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications in particular Excel and Outlook. Must maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and procedures at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in accounting or business and four (4) years complete payroll experience including all payroll related tax filings or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education & Experience
An Associate Degree in business administration or accounting and four (4) years complete payroll experience in the union construction environment.
