Job Summary:
Perform a variety of accounting tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions including comparison of invoices to purchase orders, making sales and use tax determinations, processing expense reports and preparing invoices for payment. Position is expected to communicate with vendors to resolve issues. This position will also be trained to back up the payroll function as needed.

Self- starter with the ability to perform with minimal supervision. Detail-oriented. Able to handle multiple priorities, adjust to changing priorities, and meet deadlines. Ability to work in a team environment. Some OT may be required. Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) in dealing with internal and external customers. Must maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.

Background check, credit check and drug screen required.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requires knowledge of payroll and accounting practices and procedures at a level normally acquired through the completion of a two-year degree in accounting or business and two (2) years accounts payable and accounts receivable experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education & Experience
Completion of an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Basic understanding of bookkeeping and/or accounting procedures and techniques is preferred. Accounting experience in the construction environment is very helpful.
