|The Ready-Mix Dispatcher position involves receiving and scheduling concrete orders over the telephone and in person. Heavy call volumes are experienced throughout the construction season. Responsible for scheduling orders to achieve maximum production and customer satisfaction is imperative. Daily duties also include driver and operator work schedules, end of day inventory/production reports, informing drivers of load-out times, giving accurate directions, radio dispatching, truck tracking, and data entry into dispatching computer.
Receiving and scheduling concrete orders. Communicates daily with Customers and Sales personnel to insure orders are on time and correct. Uses tact and is courteous when communicating with customers and employees; always strives for customer’s satisfaction.
Complete daily work schedules for mixer drivers, coordinates loader, operators, and bulk cement drivers as needed. Devises and posts work schedule based on orders, schedules driver’s requests for time off. Directs mixer drivers when to load.
Interacts with accounting personnel for billing purposes and completes daily production/inventory reports as required. Responsible to insure that correspondence is routed to appropriate department/personnel.
Monitor and communicate with Operations Manager, Quality Control Personnel (QC), and Field Representatives of any upcoming challenges or changes in deliveries/scheduling.
Direct all high performance concrete questions to QC or Operations Manager. Communicate with QC personnel in a timely manner when concrete is going to be tested and batched. Maintain consistent communication with field representatives/customers to assure excellent customer service. Must be self-motivated, team-player with good interpersonal skills; ability to maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful to others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
|1. Must have experience in administrative support, with strong data entry skills, and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
2Very strong computer skills including but not limited to; IPad and IPhone experience required.
3. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent and 5+ years of experience in customer service, administrative support, dispatch, or a related area.
4. Successful candidate will have familiarity with office equipment.
5. Communication skills and positive interactions with a variety of customers and vendors required.
6. Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
7. Ability and availability to work different shifts; varied start and end of shift time.

1.Strong computer skills; ability to learn new programs and use company software systems.
2. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) with a wide variety of personalities.
1.Administrative support or dispatch experience for construction or manufacturing industry.
2. Negotiating, sales skills or customer service experience.
3. Experience using JDE.
4. Bilingual (English & Spanish).
