Job Summary:
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others. Assist in providing high level design of complex software functionality to interface and supplement various applications across the company. Interface with users to meet the business operational needs through the use of technology. Assist in development of the essential core design of features meeting the needs across various applications throughout the organization.

1. Work independently with clients and consultants on traditional maintenance and enhancement tasks and/or as part of a team of developers on major projects.
2. Provides production support to address application errors encountered during processing. Such support requires on-call duties extending beyond normal business hours. On-call duties are shared with other team members on a rotating basis as determined by the manager. (50%)
3. Oversees the program development; the preparation of test plans, test data and documentation; data conversion of existing database files; and system testing to ensure the system functions in accordance with the business requirements established by the user. (25%)
4. Performs analysis in conjunction with the user to design computerized software applications to automate and enhance business processes. (10%)
5. Develops program specifications and provide direction through all phases of the software development life cycle for a project team consisting of system analysts, programmers, users, contract programmers, and consultants. Performs project administration and control to effectively communicate project status to management. (10%)
6. Seeks ways to improve application processing efficiencies. (5%)
7. Keep abreast of emerging technologies related to assigned areas of responsibility and seek ways to improve application processing efficiencies.
8. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must possess a working knowledge of information technology and analysis techniques at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology and four years experience in the design of new systems or major enhancements to existing systems.

• BS or MS in Computer Science preferred, equivalent experience considered
• 4 years’ experience with OO language (Java, C#)
• 4 years’ experience with SQL (Oracle, SqlServer)
• Practical knowledge of web stack (HTML, CSS, Javascript)



Desired Skills and Experience
• Full Stack developer experience (.Net, MVC, Angular)
• Experience developing Web Services (REST,SOAP)
• Experience with GIT
Key Skills and Competencies
• Strong analytic and problem solving skills.
• Good listening, oral, and written communications skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge in Web services, C++, Java, HTML
• Exercise good judgment, with some supervision
